Al-Haq, Al Mezan and Palestinian Center for Human Rights along with Reporters Without Borders have filed lawsuits or complaints with the International Criminal Court. The National Lawyers Guild, Palestine Legal and the Center for Constitutional Rights have put members of Congress on notice for complicity in genocide and war crimes.

Al-Shifa ambulance convoy bombed

On 3 November 2023, Israeli airstrikes hit an ambulance convoy departing from al-Shifa Hospital carrying patients killing 15 people and wounded dozens. The airstrike was condemned by the World Health Organization and Human Rights Watch.

Targetting of journalists and their families

International Criminal Court Article(s):

On 31 October, Reproters Sans Frontiers said that 34 journalists have been killed in the conflict, including 12 "in connection with their work", 10 of which were killed in Israel's attack on Gaza; they described the first two weeks of the conflict as the deadliest start of a war in the 21st century for journalists. In some cases families of journalists have also been killed. Notably, on 25 October, the wife, son and daughter of Al Jazeera journalist Wael Al-Dahdouh were killed by an Israeli airstrike of the house where they were residing in the Nuseirat camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip.

Abuse and sexual humilation of detainees

International Criminal Court Article(s):

Israeli soldiers were shown surrounding detainees in Yatta, Hebron being dragged and assaulted by the Israeli soldiers. Many of the detainees had been stripped naked as a form of sexual humiliation, having both their arms and feet bound, and beaten with the butts of rifles and trampled.

Church Saint Porphyrius bombed

Israel Defence Forces conducted an airstrike that hit part of the Church of Saint Porphyrius where 500 Muslims and Christians had been sheltering from bombardments. At least 18 Palestinians were killed in the airstrike with exterior damage to the third oldest church in the world. The Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem condemned it as a "a war crime that cannot be ignored."

UNRWA school bombed

Since October 22nd, 2023, Israel Defense Forces conducted airstrikes on United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) school in the Al-Maghazi refugee camp. UNRWA confirmed that 29 of their staff had been killed since 7 October, half of whom were teachers. The UNRWA Commissioner General responded saying, "This is outrageous, and it again shows a flagrant disregard for the lives of civilians."

Forcible evacuation of hospitals

On 14 October, the World Health Organization issued a statement condemning Israel's order to evacuate 22 hospitals in northern Gaza, calling it a "death sentence." Doctors noted both the southern Gaza Strip's lack of hospital beds and the impossibility of transporting patients, such as newborns in incubators and patients on ventilators. Nevertheless, on 22 October, the IDF dropped leaflets in northern Gaza stating anyone who did not comply with the evacuation would be considered a "terrorist. Because of insufficient beds in the southern Gaza Strip and no means of transporting patients, such as newborns in incubators or patients on ventilators, the evacuation orders were widely regarded as impossible to comply with.

Use of white phosphorus in urban areas

Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International's Crisis Evidence Lab shared evidence that Israeli military units striking in Gaza and Lebanon have employed white phosphorus artillery rounds. On 31 October, after an investigation, Amnesty International stated that an October 16 Israeli white phosphorus attack was indiscriminate, unlawful, and "must be investigated as a war crime", due to its use on the populated Lebanese town of Dhayra, which injured at least nine civilians. On 2 November, Amnesty International stated its investigations into four incidents on October 10, 11, 16 and 17 showed Israel had used white phosphorus munitions.

Forcible displacement of Gazans

On 13 October, the Israeli army ordered the evacuation of 1.1 million people from north Gaza forcing a Norweigan diploat to conclude, "There are hundreds of thousands of people fleeing for their life…It is a forcible transfer of people from all of northern Gaza, which according to the Geneva convention is a war crime." On 13 October 2023, a draft document prepared by Israel's Ministry of Intelligence proposed moving 2.3 million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to Egypt's Sinai Peninsula. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated there should be "no forcible displacement of Palestinians from Gaza."

Islamic University of Gaza bombed

The Islamic University of Gaza issued a statement on 10 October saying: “Large parts of the buildings of the Islamic University of Gaza were subjected to major damage and severe material losses” as a result of Israeli airstrikes on Gaza City on 9 October. “The building of the College of Information Technology, the building of the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education, and the building of the university’s College of Science were all exposed to damage,” read the statement. The toll of deaths of Palestinian students and academics is rising.

Siege of the Gaza Strip

Israel's Defence Minister Yoav Gallant had ordered “a complete siege of the Gaza Strip,” home to 2.2 million Palestinians, nearly half of them children. “There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed,” he said. “We are fighting human animals, and we act accordingly.” Israel's president Isaac Herzog accused the residents of Gaza of collective responsibility for the war. Oxfam stated Israel's use of "starvation as a method of war" was a violation of international law, and that Gaza was being "collectively punished in full view of the world."

Jabalia refugee camp bombed

Since October 9th, 2023, Israeli Defense Forces have conducted airstrikes on the densely populated Jabalia refugee camps on October 9th, 12th, 19th, 22nd, 31st, 1st, 2nd and 4th. The United Nation Human Rights Office stated, "We have serious concerns that these are disproportionate attacks that could amount to war crimes."

Damage to food and water sources

Since October 9th, 2023, Israel Defense Forces conducted airstrikes on electrical generators and solar energy units, on which commercial facilities and restaurants depend to maintain the minimum possible level of their work as well as argricultural centers and flour stores. As part of Israel's blockade on Gaza, all access to water was shut off leaving civilians to drink saltwater and contaminated sewage to survive. Human Rights Watch criticized Israel's refusal to allow fuel or water into a Gaza, terming it a war crime.e

Al-Shati refugee camp and mosques bombed

Since October 9th, 2023, Israel Defense Forces conducted 2 airstrikes on Al-Shati refugee camp, he third largest such camp with a population of 90,000 people. The camp was originally created to house refugees from the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. In the airstrikes, four mosques were flattened as seen in satellite pictures.
